A fan edit of a Superman CW poster recently went up on Twitter and the tagline was so ridiculous that people couldn’t help but react to it.
A fan edited a poster of CW Superman to include the tagline, “is coming in Supergirl” below the headline, “Superman.”
Twitter was quick to react to the sexual innuendo that had been inserted, with some having trouble wrapping their heads around the joke while others were having a good time with it.
People began posting edits of their own, snippets of very strange comic panels, random videos of meta sex humour, and their general commentary on the situation.
Here are some of the reactions we collected for you to see:

“Pretty sure that was supposed to say, “Superman is coming TO Supergirl”, not in or on unless it is one of the multiverse versions and not the main version of either.”

“That… doesn’t make it much better.”

“Maybe, but it DOES make it better & is the best option barring adding or taking away other words like “onTO supergirl’S SHOW” (I know it is just something someone made up, but there are ways to change it so it doesn’t sound so sexual if someone wants to make them).”

“The spacing between the I and N in that “IN” is narrower than that of the two words preceding it (for reference see “IN” in “COMING.”) This is ‘shopped, y’all.”

“It’s just people having fun. This was never a CW poster. Ran a reverse image search and it’s an edit to this deviant art from 2016. Coming to supergirl isn’t much better, though.”

Sometimes real comic panels are stranger than the edited ones, including this one, where Superman is so clearly turned on for his cousin that he has to recite the laws of a destroyed planet light-years away to avoid acting up.
“Krypto Ian law is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.”
“AFTER THE SUPER-DUO RETURNS THROUGH THE TIME-BARRIER TO THEIR FORTRESS IN 1962 A.D…”
“SUPERMAN, I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE! I WANTED TO ARRANGE A HAPPY MARRIAGE FOR YOU… 1 F-FAILED-BOTH TIMES…”
“IF I EVER DID MARRY…”
“…IT WOULD BE TO SOME ONE SUPER AND LOVABLE LIKE… YOU! WE CAN’T MARRY BECAUSE WE’RE COUSINS! THOUGH COUSINS CAN MARRY IN CERTAIN COUNTRIES HERE ON EARTH… WE’RE BOTH FROM THE PLANET KRYPTON, WHERE THE MARRIAGE OF COUSINS WAS UNLAWFUL!”
