Meet the Farmers

Farmer Matt

Matt, 23,  from Bookham in New South Wales is the youngest farmer competing this year. He’s a sheep and cattle farmer and a hopeless romantic at heart. Matt is searching for someone with “integrity, humour and a hardworking nature”.

Farmer Andrew

At 41, Andrew is the most senior member of this year’s cast. He is a mixed crop and sheep farmer from Narromine, New South Wales. Despite his country background, he enjoys dancing, crafting, reading, and public speaking. Andrew is looking for a partner who shares his passions and personal-development-oriented mindset,

Farmer David

David, 29, lives on and runs an apple farm in Pozieres, Queensland. Although he’s travelled extensively and studied civil engineering at university, he ultimately returned to the farm. David is seeking an open-minded partner who can be his teammate in all aspects of life.

Farmer Lachy

Having taken over the family business, Millmerran, Queensland based mixed crop and cattle farmer Lachy, 28, is looking to settle down with somebody adenturous who is ready to join him on this journey.

Farmer Brad
Cootamundra, New South Wales is home to 32-year-old farmer Brad. He is a mixed crop and cattle farmer who loves adventure and likes someone who can poke fun at themselves. Brad is seeking a partner who can be his best friend and share his adventurous spirit.

Farmer Brenton
Farming has been in 26-year-old Brenton’s family for generations. It’s a proud tradition that he’s honored to carry on. The key to Brenton’s heart is through authenticity and open communication.

Farmer Dylan
Hailing from Wesley Vale, Tasmania, 25-year-old Dylan is a potato farmer who’s quite the character. He describes himself as easy-going and always up for a good laugh. Dylan is seeking a partner who can handle his quirky personality and will always kiss him goodnight.

The Journey to Love

Thousands of eligible singles applied to meet the farmers, and the show promises to be a rollercoaster ride filled with first glances, first kisses and romantic dates. The farmers will meet their favourite singles and invite their special five back to the farm to learn who will spark a love that can last forever.

The Hosts

Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 is hosted by Samantha Armytage. Fans of the show can get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show and find out more about the cast on the official website. Armytage is replacing  Natalie Gruzlewski as host this season, a move previously confirmed by Channel Seven. Gruzlewski remains with the show in a co-host capacity.
