Wanna feel old? It’s been a decade since Feist smashed into our brains with ‘1234’, a song that end up popping up everywhere from the Grammys to Sesame Street. Sydney-siders loved it especially (and rather smugly sometimes, too) because our own Sally Seltmann/New Buffalo wrote it.

Anyway, she (Feist) took a six-year break between her last album and her new one, Pleasure, which came out in April this year (it even has a song co-written with Jarvis Cocker). As it’s the done thing, she is touring this album, hitting Australia in November and December for a handful of shows, including a December 3 show at Sydney Opera House, in the Concert Hall which is the very best part of the Opera House.

Tickets go on sale August 11 from 9am at the Opera House. No need to queue there either, just buy them at their website.

Here’s the title track from Pleasure.
