Fortnite is the most popular game at the moment, with even Drake promising to drop references to the game into his music (with one awesome condition).

PUBG Corp. — the developers of Battlegrounds — aren’t fans though, and have taken creators Epic Games to court, after they introduced a battle royale mode into Fortnite. PUBG claim this is an infringement on Battlegrounds’ copyright.

The lawsuit has been threatened for some time, but it is thought that Epic’s expansion of the Battle Royale mode into East Asia’s thriving esports market is the impetus for the suit being filed now.

The suit was filed in South Korea’s Seoul Central District Court, and it is yet to be decided whether it will go to trial.
