A new night of film and music is about to land at the Vanguard. Force Fox Five will screen five short films from some of the country’s hottest young filmmakers followed by presenting live sets from bands that will belt out iconic film songs taken from Tarantino and Lynch flicks.

Wednesday July 3 will see shorts Emily (dir. Benjamin Matthews), Mathilda (dir. Matt Chuang), The Exchange (dir. Matt Bird) and Inferno (dir. Stephen McCallum), with the fifth yet to be announced. Tunage will be provided by local musos Jodi Phillis, Tim Oxley, Jai Pyne, Damien Lane, Anthea Varigos and Nicole Smede.
