You know that totally dubious independent senator, Fraser Anning? That one, who, yesterday issued a statement, blaming the Christchurch attack on lenient immigration policy?
Yeah, well today, that guy got egged by some kid in Melbourne.
The Senator was in Melbourne this afternoon to meet with some Victorian supporters of the new Conservative National Party. Whilst addressing reporters, a young male snuck behind him and smashed an egg on the back of Anning’s head.
The at times, controversial, Senator, turned around and slapped the man. After this, the unnamed man was tackled and pinned to the ground by several of Anning’s devotees. This just so happened to go down, as the event was being live streamed on Facebook.
The footage showed Anning being watched eagerly by the young man, before he gets his phone out, starts filming, and smashes the egg.

Anning swings two punches, with one managing to hit the young man’s head. An Anning staffer separates the pair, while the Senator’s supporters tackle the male to the ground.
The young male was then led away by Victoria Police staff. A spokesperson stated that a 17-year-old Hampton boy was arrested, but then released pending further enquiries.
In positive news, a fundraising page has been set up to cover the costs of the legal ramifications associated with this crime. It is also there to fund the cost of “more eggs.”
