It’s World Pizza Day this Thursday and to celebrate, there are 1000s of pizza slices being given out for free across Sydney and Melbourne.
Gozney has partnered with The Grifter Brewing Company for the day so Aussies can enjoy the ultimate food and drink pairing of beer and – free – pizza.
This Thursday, 9 February 2023, they’re giving away 1000 free pizza slices from iconic pizza joints across Sydney and Melbourne. Pizzaiolos from Dimitri’s, Pizza Madre and Pizza Bros at The Grifter Brewing Co will be giving away 50 full pizzas each, and City Oltra will be slinging 100 free square slices.
Down South, Melbourne locals can join in by visiting pizza institution, Leonardo’s Pizza Palace who will be giving away 50 whole pizzas. All venues will be serving free pizza from their special World Pizza Day menu on a first in, first served basis, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
Not only that, but three lucky punters across participating venues will be served up a ”lucky slice’’, and win the ultimate backyard pizza party set up including Gozney’s cult classic portable pizza oven, Roccbox, and slab of Birra Quattro (worth a whopping $891).
