Gearing up for a career-spanning set at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, Gods And Monsters are set to bring their psychedelic rock to Australian shores for the first time.

Intense and arty, the psych-rock of Gods And Monsters is centred on the songwriting of the legendary Gary Lucas. Working closely with Captain Beefheart and co-writing Jeff Buckley’s ‘Grace’ and ‘Mojo Pin’ – from the seminal album Grace – Lucas has a remarkable musical pedigree.

Also featuring Ernie Brooks (ex-Modern Lovers), Jason Candler (Hungry March Band) and Richard Dworkin (Alex Chilton) on this impressive lineup, Gods And Monsters have just celebrated their 25th anniversary and will be making their way to Australia as part of A State Of Grace: The Music Of Tim And Jeff Buckley, while also playing their own shows.

Catch Gary Lucas & Gods And Monsters at the Factory Theatre on Friday October 2, more info through the venue.
