The Gasoline Pony in Marrickville has a handful of live music nights planned to accompany its soon-to-be-updated food menu and selection of local beers.

Tursday April 21 will see Devon Sproule land among the Fairbridge and Gum Ball dates. For $20, the doors will open at 5pm with live music kicking off at 7, supported by Leah Flanagan.

Friday April 22 has a salsa night planned with Equa Hey and Ionia. Roots troubadours Julian Temple and Jesse Morris will share Saturday April 23 with acoustic poppers Dame Joans’ Love Children. The Dead Marines will be on show Sunday April 24. All three nights will set you back just $7 each.

Then you can cool down with a free, laid-back Tuesday night of chess and open-mic shenanigans on April 26. Finally, Wednesday April 27 has a $5 evening of Tall Man Blues. What a week.

The Pony also has Saturday May 28 locked in for its Closet Morris Festival with folk music, dancers, poetry, and a soon-to-be-announced headliner.

If you’re the kind to spend every night at the one place, The Gasoline Pony in Marrickville has the rest of your month set.
