If you’re planning on hitting up the Sydney Night Noodle Markets this year, best believe, you’re going to come away with full bellies and a craving for more.

The food festival is taking place for its 15th year – impressive – and for 2019, they’re upping their game. From October 11th through until the 18th, the markets are taking over Hyde Park with hawker-style stalls alongside live music and DJs.

Gelato Messina will also be descending on the festival this year, bringing with them their classic mad-scientist view on desserts.

Last year, Gelato Messina took inspiration from the Philippines, the results glistening and tasty AF.

This time, they’re taking things to Thailand for their Noodle Market menu, taking inspiration from the tropical weather, the heavy fruit flavour combos and more.

From the ‘Bangkok Banana’ – a Thai milk tea cheesecake and sponge sandwich, dipped in meringue and finished off with desiccated coconut – to the ‘Eye of the Thai-ger’, a gorgeously presented condensed milk pudding, with condensed milk crumble, lychee shaved ice, gelato and jellies, Gelato Messina’s menu is positively mouth-watering.

Hungry?

Us too.

Elsewhere on the Gelato Messina menu, you’ve got the ‘Coco Phangan’ – a mango sorbet paired with coconut sticky rice, served with a salted coconut sauce.

Look, just make sure you track these desserts down this October and enjoy, Messina know how to turn things from tasty to delicious in no time whatsoever.
