Don’t subject your significant other to a grim, plastic-wrapped individual rose this Valentine’s Day. It’s a waste of your money and is basically an admission to forgetting about Valentine’s Day. Instead, treat them to something they’ll truly love. Gelato Messina have just announced that they will be releasing an edible, gelato rose to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The ‘Feeling Thorny’ rose consists of Earl Grey gelato with dulce de leche and strawberry compote – which is literally the dreamiest flavour combination ever. The petals are salted-caramel Chantilly, coloured with a red chocolate mist and topped with edible gold dust. It sits delicately on a white chocolate lined waffle cone that is set in a decadent chocolate-hazelnut praline mousse and chocolate brownie ‘pot’.
To get your hands on one, you’ll need to order it in advance for here and pick it up on February 13 or 14. It’ll set you back $40, a small price to pay to assume Casanova status. Pick up is available at the below Messina stores.
