uberPOOL is the latest dating app, where you get both a ride home and an introduction to the blind date of your dreams.
Okay, so maybe that’s a terrible way for you to use this service — in which Uber matches you and your destination with other riders heading in a similar direction to save you money (seriously: don’t use this as a dating app — but if you have always fancied the idea of trialling this service to see if it jives with the way in which you travel/socialise, Uber are offering Sydney customers five free rides home this week.
The rides are only valid from 4pm to 8pm until Friday, and there is a maximum of five per customer/human.
If you select ‘uberPOOL’ in the Uber app between 4pm-8pm from today until Friday, the promo will be automatically applied.
Cancellation fees still apply though, so be sure you wanna go where you wanna go. That’s not a metaphor.
