It is not even October yet and Cadbury have released gingerbread biscuit chocolate blocks to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Now if you’re like me and think we should just put the Christmas tree and decorations up now and call 2020 a year, then this is the perfect addition to your pantry for the next three months. And if you’re not obsessed with Christmas like me, it’s still chocolate and this combo will be amazing so you should invest regardless.
It appears that Cadbury’s elves have been busy stocking shelves of different supermarkets around Australia including in a Supa IGA in Muswellbrook, NSW, up in New Farm, QLD, and Geelong, VIC, according to Pedestrian. The chocolate block also appears on Coles online store but is temporarily unavailable… sadly, because it is on special for a steal of $3.50.
The gingerbread biscuit chocolate blocks are a simple recipe of Cadbury’s classic milk chocolate block mixed with small gingerbread biscuit pieces. It’ll be the perfect pairing of crunchy and smooth, feeling like Christmas day in your mouth, and exactly what we all need to get through the rest of the year.
Cadbury has not released an official statement yet on this wonderful new seasonal treat so if you see it on the shelves better snatch it up quick in case they take it away before you get the chance to enjoy the deliciousness.
I am contemplating replacing bar hopping with supermarket hopping until I find a block, or 10 of this very merry treat, and I will not be disappointed if Cadbury choose to add a block to their chocolate Christmas stockings this year.
