Sam Shepard’s black comedy The God Of Hell will open at Old Fitzroy Theatre next month.

Shepard wrote his piece in the lead-up to the 2004 US presidential election, and used the opportunity to air a scathing commentary on big and intrusive government. Rodney Fisher directs this production of Shepard’s “dark farce”.

The God Of Hell plays at Old Fitzroy Theatre from Tuesday August 26 – Saturday September 13.
