Gordi has announced she will play a headline show in Sydney this December.
Sydney-based songwriter Sophie Payten, better known as her musical persona Gordi, has also recently been nominated forUnearthed Artist of the Year in triple j’s J Awards.
Following the success of her single, ‘Can We Work It Out’,as well as its follow up ‘Nothing’s As It Seems’,whichpeaked at #5 on the Spotify charts and #6 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts, Gordi also showcased at bothNew York’s CMJ and Brisbane’s BIGSOUND conference,won the APRA Josh Pyke Partnership Award and supported the likes of Little May.
She will be following her hugely successful 2015 by releasingher debut EP in early 2016.
Gordi will play at GoodGod Small Club on Thursday December 10. Tickets are on sale through Moshtix.
