Australia’s most recognisable indigenous musician, Gurrumul, will play two new dates with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra this September.

Gurrumul performed a sold-out run at the Sydney Opera House as part of Vivid LIVE 2013, and his return to the Concert Hall will introduce new works from his orchestral project (due for release in 2015) alongside old favourites. The music will be accompanied by rare footage and photography from Gurrumul’s life as an artist.

Gurrumul and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra play the Sydney Opera House on Friday September 5 and Saturday September 6.
