If you’re dad’s anything like mine, he’ll likely want to devote a large portion of Father’s Day to food.

So why not guac and roll this Sunday, September 4th, by heading to Guzman y Gomez and attempting to win the man of the day a year of free burritos.

The Mexican fast food chain is giving one lucky dad the chance to win a year of free burritos – one per week – and the process couldn’t be simpler.

Just order from Guzman y Gomez, either in-person or via the official app or website, and collection your food in-store at your local GYG, and you’ll automatically to be entered into the prize draw. Make sure you place your order between 12:01am (AEST) and 11:59pm (AEST) on Sunday and you’re all set.

Just imagine the brownie points you’ll earn if you win papa 52 free and tasty burritos – the ‘favourite child’ slot will be secured. You could even make it the occasion for a weekly dinner date, where your dad can discuss the woes of his footy team while munching on yummy Mexican food.

You can check out more information about the competition here, and find your nearest Guzman y Gomez here.

With Father’s Day just around the corner (where has this year gone?!), it’s time to show the paternal figures in your life some love, Mexican food or no Mexican food.

While it’s easy to opt for the usual options – think that 3-pack of novelty socks or a tie – it’s much more fun to put some thought into Father’s Day and finding a gift that Dad will actually appreciate.

Take a look at The Brag‘s gift ideas for every type of dad or paternal figure, including some handy earphones and a Beatles anthology.
