In 2017, comedy fans the world over were devastated to learn that Tasmanian comedian Hannah Gadsby is set to hang up the mic after her current comedy tour, ‘Nanette’. However, there’s good news on the horizon, with the comedian announcing that her critically-acclaimed stand up performance will be making its way to Netflix.

As Junkee reports, Gadsby made the announcement during a sold-out performance at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday night, stating that the evening’s performance was being recorded for a future release on the streaming service.

Sadly, at this point, no further details have been made clear, such as when it will be premiering, or that sort of thing, but you can rest easy knowing that one of the greatest comedy shows of recent times is now in the hands of Netflix.
