Actor Tom Felton, best known for his role as antagonist Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, collapsed during a celebrity golf tournament on Thursday, September 3rd.

Tom Felton was competing for Europe in the six-a-side Ryder Cup Celebrity Match in Wisconsin when he collapsed on the 18th hole. Felton was playing with former NHL star Teemu Selanne, 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey captain Mike Eurzione and Olympic speed skater Dan Jansen.

The actor was taken off the course in a stretcher and transported to seek further medical attention. Ryder cup organizers confirmed that Felton experienced “a medical incident”, but no further information was provided.

“In today’s Ryder Cup Celebrity Match, actor and musician Tom Felton experienced a medical incident on the course while participating for Europe,” the PGA of America said in a statement. “He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No further details are available.”

The day prior to the tournament, Felton celebrated his 34th birthday. “33 years done – good lord it’s been so much fun getting here – yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come,” he wrote in a social media post. “Thank you all for your love, support and sense of humour – let’s keep a good thing going – to the next 33 xx.”
