It’s been a little while since a major video game has tackled zombies, but Dying Light 2: Stay Human does exactly that with a civilisation that has fallen into the dark ages. The big change of pace here is how you navigate the game’s world, with a breathless parkour system that’ll see you running for your life more often than you’d like. Perfect for anybody looking for some fast-paced action.

Horizon Forbidden West (PS5, PS4)
Release Date: Friday February 18
If you’re a PS5 owner, this is the one you’ll want to keep some pocket money for. A continuation of the heroic Aloy’s story, Forbidden West promises distant lands, bigger machine enemies and new tribes in one hell of an epic adventure. It also looks like it’ll be a real show pony for the power of the PS5.

If you’re a car lover, you’ll want to race to pick up Grid Legends. You’ll be able to play with up to 21 friends in what the developers are calling “the most social and connected GRID ever.” That’s in addition to over 100 vehicles, a new story mode and a globe-trotting map.

Looking for a game that’ll challenge the absolute hell out of you? Look no further than Elden Ring – the latest entry in the increasingly popular Soulsborne style of games.
