Here are the twenty funniest Aussie comedians on radio

Radio Today ran a poll to find out who their readers deemed the funniest Australian comedians on FM radio today, and a whopping 21% of voters opted for a Kiwi… Mr. Tony Martin, who has delighted Aussies since the late ’80s with numerous successful runs on radio and television.

It’s worth noting that D Generation, of which Martin was a part, ranked ninth, which means Martin’s share of the votes was even higher. In addition, his long-time comedy partner Mick Molloy came in eighth.

Surprisingly, Australia’s perennially highest-rating comedy duo Hamish and Andy were only ranked fifth, and Shaun Micallef scrapped into 19th place.

Not a lot of women made the list, but, unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of women on Australian FM radio.
