I’m in a bit of denial that it’s going to be June tomorrow but whatever, instead of spiralling into a “where did the time go” pit of despair I’m just going to check out of life and binge-watch television until I’m numb. In the spirit of the alleged month of June, here’s everything coming to Amazon Prime next month.

If you’re in need of a little spiritual pick-me-up there are a bunch of cracker feel-good films that’ll do just that: the Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen led 50/50 is a true delight, as is The Coen Brother’s ridiculous crime romp Burn After Reading (Brad Pitt in this film is the definitive Himbo on-screen performance).

If your idea of feel-good is leaning into neuroticism there’s Spike Jonze’s knotty and devastatingly hilarious Adaptation. Side note: where did the Nic Cage meme stem from? Retrospectively that guy has only ever given 100% in his performances and they all fucking rock. Especially that one scene in The Wicker Man…. NOOOOO NOT THE BeeEEEEeessssssssss.

Fight Club is also dropping. I haven’t watched that film since I was an edgy teenager who took the word’s of Chuck Palahniuk as gospel so I don’t want to revisit it with an adult lens. I reckon it’s still probably got legs. Anyway, check out the full list of everything coming to Amazon Prime in June below.
