It sucks that the Lizzie McGuire reboot never ended up panning out last year. It was a pretty sad time when Hilary Duff broke the news, but alas we’ve all had to try and move on.

While the reboot never happened, thanks to Colourpop, they released an official Lizzie McGuire makeup collection, including a 12 pan palette, a lip scrub, four lipglosses, two glitter gels as well as two pressed powder blushes.

Whoever was behind creating this collection absolutely nailed the brief. Like me, and for all of us Lizzie McGuire devotees out there who watched the show religiously, the pieces got us yelling THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE of. So yes, the level of nostalgia is pretty crazy.

Even just looking at them I’m transported back to 2005, along with my glitter hair clips, glitter pens and Ethan Craft crush. But in a peculiar turn of events, the one person in the world (who probably should have received the set first) actually didn’t get one. Yep, Colourpop low-key forgot to send Duff a set. Either that or they actually just didn’t want to send her one.

The most awks part is that naturally the company gifted sets of the collection to beauty influencers which they flexed online, even tagging her in their stories.

Duff was left absolutely confused, resulting to Duff taking to her own Instagram stories in an attempt to figure out what the hell happened. She said, “So Sophie Turner just tagged me in her ColourPop lip gloss Lizzie McGuire post and I’m just kind of scratching my head literally. Why didn’t they send me any? Curious, definitely curious…”

Obviously, she has a pretty good point. We’ll stay tuned for updates on whether or not they finally decide to send her some.
