Homebake turns 18 this year and to celebrate this coming of age, they’ve decided to foregothe usual rented hall and casks of goon associate with most 18th birthday bashes andinstead deliver us an extended, three-day anniversary edition of the festival.
To make this birthday extra special, they’ve joined forces with a venue that is alsocelebrating a birthday this year, the iconic Sydney Opera House. “Our 40th Anniversary isall about drawing on our heritage, as we launch into the future and the next generationof artists, audiences and visitors to the Opera House,” says Sydney Opera House ChiefExecutive Louise Herron.
The event promises to be a more intimate affair this year and will take place on thestunning harbourside forecourt over three balmy summer afternoons and evenings onFriday December 6, Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 9. Tickets are on saleWednesday September 25 through oztix.com.au
