Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins will enter the jungle on Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here on Easter Monday.

The former international rugby union player will join the likes of former Married at First Sight contestant turned podcaster Domenica Calarco, radio host Woody Whitelaw, former international netballer Liz Ellis and former co-host of The Project Peter Helliar, among others.

He will not, however, cross over with Kerri-Anne Kennerley who left the series during Thursday evening’s broadcast.

Channel 10 said the Honey Badger thinks he’s walking straight into the jungle camp with his fellow campmates, but instead he is facing a “2.3 kilometre drop” – presumably part of a challenge to win more food and luxuries for the competitors.

“Is the Honey Badger tougher than a woodpecker’s lips, or will he be more scared than a bag of cats at a greyhound meet?,” Channel 10 said.

Despite his late entry to the jungle, Cummins is no stranger to reality TV.

He appeared on The Bachelor in the highest-rating male-fronted version of the show. The ratings were only topped by Sophie Monk’s outing as The Bachelorette the year prior.
