Hotel Steyne and Sapporo are coming together to set up a 30-metre-long snow ramp down the middle of the Hotel Steyne beer garden in Manly.
Switch is set to be Australia’s biggest indoor ski and snowboarding competition, with two nights of competitive events including an expression session, ski night and snowboarding night.
There are thousands’ worth of giveaways and attendees are guaranteed a Japanese Sapporo in hand.
In the prize pool is gear from Chillfactor Magazine, Thredbo Resort, Armoda Skis, SnowCandy, Sontimer, Pacifico Optical, Banta, Dinosaurs Will Die and DVS.
Some of Australia’s best boarders and skiers are taking part in the competition including Jye Kearney, Jake Carney, Troy Sturrock and Pete Long.
The event kicks off at 5pm with DJ sets on both nights and practice from 5.30pm. The event ends with a presentation from 9.30pm.
Switch will take place on Wednesday July 27 and Thursday July 28 at Hotel Steyne, Manly. For more information and an event schedule check out the website.
