Although Boba Fett has been largely absent from his show the last two episodes, a senior lighting artist at Industrial Light & Magic has teased a big return.

In response to praise for ‘Book of Boba Fett’ E6, Tom Martinek teases fans to, “Wait until next week…”

Twitter user @FettFunk voiced their want for a big action scene from their favorite Mandalorian in the show’s finale saying, “If I see Boba get a cool action scene I’ll be satisfied.”

Many fans have been thrilled about Episodes 5 and 6 of The Book of Boba Fett’ but at the same time, voiced their concern for Fett’s lack of presence in the twilight episodes of his show. Martinek responds to one such fan and tells them, “Looking forward to a tweet from you next week.” Which is a clear tease that they will be eating their words after a totally cool and very awesome Boba Fett action scene in next week’s finale.

While Martinek responded to the Tweet above with a playful tease, it seems that the fatigue to fan’s constant nit-picking may have come to fruition in some of his other responses.  While seemingly respectful at first, Twitter user @Dararacer117 persistence, derived from a place of apparent entitlement, proved Martinek’s frustration expressed in his initial Tweet.

‘The Book of Boba Fett’ fans aren’t unjustified in their concerns of the titular character’s absence. Twitter account @CultureCrave reported that the former bounty hunter had only 1 total minute of screen time in the past 2 episodes of his show combined. However, some may see this as a return to the bounty hunter’s roots. After all, the character wasn’t around all that much in ‘Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back’ so maybe they’re just trying to stay faithful to that.

‘The Book of Boba Fett’ will be coming to its conclusion Wednesday, February 9th.
