Jack Vidgen has revealed that he has Tourette’s after fans pointed out his “twitching” while on The Challenge.
The reality star took to his Instagram stories and said he decided to speak about his condition because of some of the “nasty thing” people have been saying about him.
“I twitch my fingers a lot. I tap my fingers a lot and there’s a few people saying it’s some nasty things as to the reasons why they think it might be,” he said.
Vidgen continued, “ I was diagnosed with Tourettes when I was about seven years old and OCD, um, the Tourette is eased off over the years.
“When I get nervous or I’m a high-pressure situation, sometimes I twitch, sometimes my face twitches.”
The Australian singer told his followers that he is “insecure” about the movements, and would prefer if his fans didn’t say anything about it.
“I look back at some videos, I’m like, ‘Jack, stop moving your hands. But yeah, sometimes I can’t help it. I don’t know that I’m doing it. And then when I do realize I’m doing it, I try and just hold my hands together.”
