Jackass star Steve-O has opened up about the most painful stunt he’s ever done during a chat on Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O.

The stunt veteran told the radio host that his most painful stunt was done back in 2019 when he lit his house on fire and suffered severe burns to his body.

“It was what I did for the closing sequence in the final segment of my last comedy special, which was a multimedia comedy special,” he began.

“The idea was that I was going to blow up the living room in my house with me in it and try to do as much damage as I could to the house so that I would be forced to redecorate it and have my beautiful fiance decorate it.

“Well, I ended up laying down on the living room floor in a bed of rocket engine fuel. And I did what’s known as Snow Angels. I did it in Rocket Engine Fuel and I called it Fire Angels. And as I was laying in it, my buddies lit the stuff and I ended up with such severe third degree burns that I had to have skin graft surgery on 15% of my body.

“Anybody will tell you – and I know this because I went on a tour of burn units and everybody who has been shot and stabbed and severely burned – that burns are the most painful.

In the same interview, Steve-O spoke about his upcoming Australian tour The Bucket List which will see him visit QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, and WA starting next month. The stuntman told Kyle and Jackie O that the closing scene on his tour – which has been pre-recorded – is a stunt he’s been dreaming up for decades.

“The closing sequence of the bucket list tour, which I’m proudly bringing to Australia, it’s a skydiving scene,” he said.

Steve-O added: “Years ago, I decided that skydiving was not at the level that I considered a stunt. I said, grandmas, do this. So I made a pact probably 20 years ago, I said, if I ever go skydiving, I am going to be butt ass naked, and furiously masturbating.”

In preparation for the stunt, Steve-O told the hosts that he abstained from sex from “four whole days”, took four Cialis for breakfast and  has his “jackass buddy to do the duties of fluffer.”
