Sydney soul rockers Jacki Brown Jr have announced an upcoming split-single release and released a new song.

The upcoming split-single will be titled ‘The 44 Project’ and include four singles which showcase the musical talents of Sydney’s Inner West. Jackie Brown Jr are a fresh, vibrant new band to come out of UNSW last year. Their soulful and fiery sound has attracted attention from around the country, and their first single, ‘Don’t Trust Apes’, is upbeat and soulful. In addition to the release, Jackie Brown Jr will also be doing a few shows in Sydney in July.

Jackie Brown Jr’s singles are available from their Bandcamp. They will be playing at Foundry616 on Monday July 6 and again at Spring Street Social on Saturday July 11.
