After studying at the National Art School and Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney-based artist James Nguyen spent the last year making collaborative docos – ‘docos’ being the cool kids’ term for documentaries – in New York. Talk about movin’ on up in the world, eh?
Nguyen has experimented with a range art forms from the static to the dynamic. His past exhibitions have displayed both still and moving images, so you get tastes of both worlds. Now he’s back and at it again, humbling us with his latest exhibiton New Solutions, Enduring Problems. It’s sureto not only be just as impressive as his past works, but perhaps even more so.
