If you’ve signed up for either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, both companies have officially revealed the line-up for January’s selection of free titles. For PlayStation gamers, you’re looking at the following goodies:

Zone of the Enders HD Collection

PlayStation Vita
Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (cross buy with PS4)
Super Mutant Alien Assault
The big ticket item here is obviously Steep, Ubisoft’s latest 2016 attempt at an extreme sports game that will allow you to “defy and master the world’s most epic mountains with skis, wingsuit, snowboard, and paraglider.
Meanwhile, Xbox gamers with their service are entitled to:
Xbox One
Celeste (Jan 1-31)
WRC 6 (Jan 16-Feb 15)
Xbox 360 (compatible with Xbox One)
Lara Croft: Guardian of Light (Jan 1-15)
Far Cry 2 (Jan 16-31)
Our recommendation: start with Celeste – a beautiful independent platformer that also just so happens to be one of 2018’s best. It follows young girl Madeline as she attempts to journey to the top of Celeste mountain while dealing with her personal inner demons, all amidst tough-as-nails gameplay.
