A Japanese Youtuber has spent over $12,000 on a realistic dog suit to fulfill his dream of becoming an animal.

A Japanese Youtuber named Toko-san has taken step towards his lifelong dream of becoming an animal. Toko-san has spent two million yen on a hyper-realistic Rough Collie suit that is meant to house a human inside of it. The suit was made by Zeppet, who makes costumes and figures for tv and movies.

Toko-san, said, “I made it a Collie because it looks real when I put it on.”

Toko-san talked about his decision to make the suit an animal that was roughly his size, in order to lessen the burden on both his body and the construction limitations put on Zeppet.

“I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.”

A spokesman for Zeppet said, ‘Modelled after a collie dog, it reproduces the appearance of a real dog walking on four legs.’

Once Toko-san finally received the costume, they were excited to show it off to everyone who had been following along with his journey.

Posting a video on Twitter of himself inside the dog costume and rolling on the floor, Toko-san wrote: ‘I ordered a costume! Thanks to you, I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming an animal!’

The video was met with mixed reactions, as many either didn’t understand the situation or were eager to put Toko-san down, as they viewed his dream as childish. There were also many positive comments who were either generally curious about how the suit works or generous with their compliments of Toko-san’s suit.

He added: ‘There are restrictions, but you can move in it. However, if you move too much, it will not look like a dog.’
