The Bachelor star Jed McIntosh has hit back at trolls calling him a ‘cheap impersonation’ of Machine Gun Kelly.

Yes, The Bachelor star Jed McIntosh knows trolls think he looks like a Machine Gun Kelly rip-off. No, he doesn’t care.

Ahead of the premiere of the new season of The Bachelor, McIntosh spoke to TV Week and addressed trolls comparing him to the pop-punk artist. While we don’t know whether McIntosh is into oversharing his private relationships as much as Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are, we can certainly see the physical similarities.

A drummer by profession, McIntosh boasts bleached hair and tattoos similar to Kelly. The 25-year-old revealed he knew what people said – one comment called him ‘Machine Gun Bogan’ – but he was honestly more flattered than anything else.

“I love Machine Gun Kelly, I’ve met him before and he’s a really nice guy. I think it’s a compliment. It’s definitely not offensive to me but yeah, we are two totally different people.” McIntosh said.

McIntosh isn’t the first The Bachelor star to be compared to a Hollywood counterpart – and being trolled for it. His co-star Felix Von Hofe claimed people called him the ‘ALDI version of Chris Evans’ and fellow Bachelor Thomas Malucelli a ‘better-looking version of Jason Sudeikis.’

Well, whatever or whoever people may be comparing them to didn’t hold this season’s bachelors back from going all-out to find their ‘the one’ this season.

In the same chat with TV Week, the three confessed that they got ‘awfully close’ to ‘R-rated moments’ multiple times this season, meaning the Bachelors were unafraid to get physical with their potential love interests.

McIntosh said: “It [the new season] is definitely not as reserved as it has been, we were definitely allowed to express the way that we felt physically and I think that was great given the amount of connections that were there that we all had on the show. Tune in to watch, there will definitely be no lack of steam!”
