Vivid Australia is pulling out all the stops this year and vowing to create a memorable time, with the announcement that White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge will be headling the event, along with the show’s writer, director, and creator, Mike White.

The news was announced by Coolidge herself, who took to Instagram and TikTok to share the exciting news with her fans. “Hey Australia, it’s Jennifer Coolidge and I just got really exciting news,” she said in the video. “Mike White and I are coming to Sydney on June 10 – we’ll see you there!”

The Vivid event, featuring the mega-stars is called Mike White and Jennifer Coolidge In Conversation and will be held at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on June 10. It’s billed to be one of the biggest in Vivid’s 13-year history and will be hosted by Benjamin Law.

“We’re thrilled to share that The White Lotus creator, Mike White, and star of the series, Jennifer Coolidge, will join this year’s Vivid Sydney line-up,” Vivid Sydney festival director Gill Minervini said.

“Securing these huge megastars cements Vivid Sydney 2023 as the biggest and most culturally relevant program yet.

“This exclusive event will allow audiences to see behind the curtain on what has become a massive cultural Zeitgeist and hear from two of the hottest figures in the creative industries right now.”

Vivid Sydney itself will run from May 26 to June 17, with over 300 events to choose from. Tickets are available now via Vivid’s official website.

Vivid Sydney, an annual festival of light, music, and ideas, has attracted impressive guests over the years, including director Baz Luhrmann, psychotherapist Esther Perel, and actor/filmmaker Spike Lee. However, the addition of Coolidge and White to this year’s lineup is sure to draw in a huge ground.
