It might be spooky season but there’s nothing scary about the Jetstar ‘Return For FREE’ sale this week.

For 48 hours only from Thursday, October 27th to Friday, October 28th, travellers can grab free return flights on select routes within Australia and overseas.

With destinations including Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand, and Japan, getting free returns to those far-flung places is very handy.

Travel periods, of course, vary, so you’ll have to make sure you’re free during select periods next year to take advantage of the deal. Customers will be able to book a Starter fare, and then receive a return Starter fare for $0 on the selected flights.

Check out some of the highlights of the ‘Return For Free’ sale below:

In the travel news, hotel chain QT Hotels & Resorts is currently running the very curious Curious Currencies initiative, which is offering customers a week-long stay at the hotel in exchange for the weirdest belongings you own.

“We’ve grown tired of dealing in something as common as money. So, we’re offering those with the most interestingly odd way to pay, an exclusive stay at a QT of your choosing,” the hotel explains. And if you’re wondering how they’re deciding what’s “odd”, the hotel says “coins or cards won’t cut it, but toenails and taxidermy just might.”
