The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre is turning 25 this month and to celebrate is throwing a Community Day on Saturday March 28.

The day will include ticketed performances from two of Australia’s most successful indigenous performers, Christine Anu and Archie Roach, as well as a special performance of Whiteby Scotland’sCatherine Wheels Theatre Co. There will also be plenty of free stuff for the whole family to enjoy, including a showcase of local performing arts talent. Of course no birthday would be complete without a sausage sizzle, so there’ll be one of those too.

The Joan’s 25th Anniversary Community Day will be held on Saturday March 28, from 9am to 3pm. Tickets forChristine Anu and Archie RoachandWhite are available online and are expected to sell out fast.
