Off the back of his plea for an official pardon, Tiger King‘s Joe Exotic has detailed allegations of sexual assault in a new letter to Donald Trump.

As reported by hotnewhiphop, the 257-page letter, aimed at convincing Trump to release him from prison, outlines the abuse Joe Exotic has allegedly endured at the hands of jail staff.

“I have been sexually assaulted by jail staff, beat up and tied in a chair to the point the skin came off my arms,” he said.

“Please be my hero … my hands are damaged from the abuse in jail so I’m sorry for the soppy (sic) writing and spelling,” he continued.

Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence after he was found guilty of paying a hitman to kill Tiger King co-star Carole Baskin, as well as multiple charges of animal abuse.

Exotic’s current quest for an official pardon marks the second attempt his team has made to persuade Trump to let him go.

According to hotnewhiphop, the letter claims that Exotic does not believe he’ll live until his 2037 release date due to a myriad of health conditions, which he argues prison exacerbates.

Exotic’s husband Dillion Passage also weighed in throughout the letter, claiming that Exotic is a “sweet, big heart man, with good intentions, who took a few steps down a dark road, and he’s just waiting to be pulled out of it.”

Exotic reportedly concludes the letter by asking Trump to “allow [him] to make [Trump] proud, to make America proud, to make the world proud.”

A decision regarding the plea is expected to be handed down within the coming days.

According to TMZ, a source from the prison has denied Exotic’s claims of sexual assault, saying “there was no such assault.”
