Australian comedian Joel Creasey has made headlines for spilling the tea on his most cringeworthy celebrity encounter yet, and he didn’t hold back.

In a juicy chat with news.com.au’s podcast I’ve Got News For You, the Nova radio host dished on his awkward run-in with none other than Hollywood star Christoph Waltz.

Creasey recounted feeling a bad vibe before even entering Waltz’s LA press junket for Horrible Bosses 2, having seen several “shaken” people exiting the room before his own interview.

“To be fair, I’m sure he was tired, he’d probably spoken to like 100 (members of the) world press in a row, and he did not like me,” Creasy said.

“I said: ‘In Horrible Bosses 2, it must have been so much fun going to work, you’ve got Jen Aniston and that whole crew’, and he goes, like, ‘How dare you? … This is work. It’s not like arts and crafts class’.

“Which I was like, that doesn’t really make sense. And also I love arts and crafts so it was a really icky interaction.”

The comedian has had loose lips this week when it comes to shocking celebrity encounters. Yesterday, he revealed that he was almost arrested at an event hosted by Meghan Markle after he attempted to make a quiet exit.

The surreal experience took place several years ago when Markle was still a member of the royal family. Creasey was invited to a morning tea for youth leaders, but he grew bored after waiting for five hours for the Duchess of Sussex to arrive.

“She was still a member of the Royal Family at the time, and I went to a morning tea for youth leaders aged under 30. I just snuck in,” Creasy explained on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy and Wippa this morning.

He added, “I think the invite was for [fellow comedian] Josh Thomas and I took it. I went along and she was five hours late.”

However, Creasey said he grew “bored” after waiting for Markle for so long, and attempted to leave.

“I said, “Can I leave? I don’t care about her that much,” and security said, ‘No, you can’t leave. We’ll arrest you.’” He told the hosts.

Creasey added, “And I’m like, ‘Wow.’ Turns out it’s easier to leave the Royal Family than it is one of their events! So we didn’t really hit it off.
