A new documentary on the infamous Jonestown massacre is set to be released next month. Jonestown: Terror In The Jungle, is a four-party documentary co-produced by Leonardo Dicaprio.
The films’ release coincides with the fortieth anniversary of America’s largest mass-suicide.
The documentary is set to explore the creation of The Peoples Temple in California in the 1970s. It is based on the writings of acclaimed journalist Jeff Guinn.
It has been reported that the documentary will feature interviews with Jones family members and people who were involved with the cult before the massacre. It will also unveil previously unheard recordings from the FBI, once classified documents and recreations of pivotal events and society inside Jonestown.

Jonestown: Terror In The Jungle is set to premiere on November 17 in the US. It is set for release in Australia late Decmber.
