The Kardashian-Jenners may not have been giving at this year’s Met Gala but the internet reactions to their looks certainly were.

In case you were off the internet for the past day, the Met Gala happened. And for the first time in recent history, all of the Kardashians and Jenners were in attendance. While Kim, Kylie, and Kendall had been regular attendees, this year also saw Khloe and Kourtney walking the coveted red carpet.

So, naturally, people were expecting glam. Unfortunately, not only did their looks not give – as the internet calls it now – Kourtney also received flak for her attitude towards the theme of the event.

While (most of) the attendees showed up in outfits that interpreted the theme in some way, Kourtney’s was surprisingly off-brand.

“I honestly didn’t really think about it,” she said while speaking to La La Anthony about how her and Travis interpreted the theme of the event.

“We’re in Thom Browne. And I’m basically like a deconstructed version of his outfit,” she told Anthony.

“But, yeah. I feel like [Travis’s] is like it, and then mine’s like, falling — like, dripping off of him,” she explained.

Kourtney’s attitude – given the event’s history – drew criticism from people online. Since the event celebrates the opening of the Costume Institute exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the theme is central to the attendees. Kourtney’s casual approach to the event, therefore, did not sit well with audiences, more so because this was her debut on the red carpet.

Kourtney, however, wasn’t the only Kardashian who drew flak for their look at the Met.  While Kim’s Marilyn Monroe moment and Khloe’s gold gown received fairly positive responses, the rest of the Kardashians and Jenners left us… confused.

The roasting was on in full force, so of course we compiled them here.
