Kevin Feige recently shared some interesting comments about a potential Namor movie while attending a screening of Black Panther 2.

Kevin Feige was recently asked about when MCU fans could possibly be getting a Namor film while attending a screening of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He then alludes to the fact that the probability of getting a Namor movie relies on the success of the character’s portrayal in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

A lucky few have already been able to see early screenings of the film, with many of them praising it as a worthy sequel.

“Kevin Feige when asked about a #Namor film: “

We’ll see, depends on this.””

Leaked images of Namor were released a few months back, if you want to see them check out the posts below. Alternatively, you can read more about it here.

In the leaked image there is a dark room with a single light source coming down from above, multiple people are floating in the waters below who appear to be both film crew and cast. The comments below the post have fans discussing theories and possible comic book threads Ryan Coogler and the Black Panther crew could possibly pull from.

This Twitter user refers to the heightened tensions between Namor’s Kingdom of Atlantis and T’Challa’s Wakanda that exists in the comics, which led to war and death many times. They are theorizing that Namor will kill Boseman’s iteration of T’Challa while invading Wakanda, leading to an extreme need of retribution against the Atlantean.

This fan had the idea of James Cameron lending a creative helping hand to the team to share some of the underwater tech the team on Avatar 2 has developed. One can only hope.

Another fan theorized that the introduction of Namor may be part of a larger overarching theory of the introduction of mutants into the MCU, as the character is technically the first mutant to be published in Marvel Comics.
