Chicken and pizza. Together? Finger lickin’ good.
Fast food giants KFC and Pizza Hut have joined up to collaborate on a product that is either going to make you salivate or cringe: Popcorn Chicken Pizza.
Road tested in the U.K. so far, the concoction came just in time for National Pizza Day in the U.K. (February 9th) and the reactions have been pretty divided.
“You can’t outpizza the hut,” one fan wrote.
“Why ruin it with gravy and sweetcorn though it sounded good before that stuff was added,” another one added.
The dish comes complete with Pizza Hut’s crispy pan crust, with a base of KFC’s famous gravy. Coat it with mozzarella cheese, heap some sweetcorn and popcorn chicken on top? You’ve got one heck of a flavour combo on your hands.
The KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza is set to be on menus for a limited time in the U.K., while people are already getting on board in angling for it to make its way to Australian chains.
