Fans have been craving its return for a while now, and finally Hot & Crispy Boneless Chicken is coming back to KFC.

Hot & Crispy Boneless became a fan favourite after its debut in Australia in 2021 (and New Zealand earlier this year) thanks to its crispy golden coating that had an added fiery kick to it.

The lack of bones was also greatly appreciated by many, meaning the tasty snack could be hoovered up with minimal mess and fuss.

You can get your hands on Hot & Crispy Boneless at KFC restaurants around the country from this Tuesday, November 1st, as well as through the KFC App.

It will be available as a three-piece snack, as well as part of a new Zinger Box, which comes with a Zinger burger, two pieces of Hot & Crispy Boneless, potato and gravy, chips and a drink.

The return of Hot & Crispy Boneless, however, is about to divide Australia.

It will be available in Queensland, Western Australia and Northern Territory only until Monday, November 28th, so you only have one month to try it if you live in those three states. But in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia, the Hot & Crispy Boneless is here to stay.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing back our fan-favourite Hot & Crispy Boneless. Aussies went crazy for it when we introduced it for a limited- time in 2021. We knew we had to bring it back, and this time it will be a permanent menu item in some states,” says Sally Spriggs, CMO at KFC Australia.

“So you can head down to your local restaurant and treat yourself to some Hot & Crispy Boneless anytime of the year!”

It’s the latest example of KFC catering to fans, with the fast food chain introducing the world’s first ‘left-handed KFC’ earlier this month. For 11 consecutive days in October, KFC gave out enticing deals to the first 11,000 customers to visit the app, including $1 popcorn chicken (if you’re wondering why, left-handers make up about 11% of the population).
