Prepare your arteries – KFC’s Zinger pie is coming back

Just in time for the summer months and footy finals season, KFC has done the unthinkable and dropped its biggest bomb yet – the infamous Zinger Pie is back.

Yes, for just $5 you can nab yourself the pie that KFC itself describes as “unlike any you’ve had before,” with buttery, flaky pastry that is filled with the chain’s signature Zinger chicken and gravy. Oh, and it also comes with chips. What’s not to love?

Naturally, Facebook went into meltdown, with one fan stating “IM SO KEEN. I MISSED THIS PIE. ?”, while another mentioned plans to stock up and keep them in the freezer, because, goals.

First introduced in 2013, the pie has been a fan-favourite and seen multiple calls to bring it back to market. But for those dreaming of holding one between your warm mitts, be warned, it will only be available from today until September 30.

That is, of course, unless you live in South Australia, where the offer is not available. Talk about awkward…
