Kiki’s ex boyfriend Jeremy Banks was accused of choking and slapping her at a Manly apartment in 2018. It was alleged that he woke her up by yelling and pointing at her phone then dragged her out of bed into the lounge area and held her down with his leg or foot while choking her.

According to court documents, Kiki’s neighbours heard screaming and saw her bloodied and bruised coming out of the apartment.

The Supreme Court judgment said the neighbour saw that Kiki “had a swollen and bleeding lip and, “broken skin like graze,” on her right cheek and said she appeared “upset and distressed and was crying, shaking.”

While the reality star gave a video recount of the incident, she didn’t turn up to the hearing at Manly Local Court. Banks denied the charges and they were thrown out by a magistrate in Manly court last year. However, Kiki still has a standing apprehended violence against her ex-boyfriend.

A source has told So Dramatic! that Kiki said that physical challenges on The Challenge triggered Kiki’s PSTD that she developed from the alleged domestic abuse situation – in particular when anybody would “touch her”.

“Well, day one she had to go into a pole wrestling elimination and she had a breakdown and said she couldn’t do it because it takes her back to that place and gives her PTSD,” the source claimed.

“[Kiki] said, ‘I had to go back to that very dark place and channel a side of me that I didn’t know I had’,” they added.

Kiki won The Challenge: War of the Worlds along with Ninja Warrior alum Troy, and the two will compete on the international version of the show.
