Earlier today a teaser trailer of the forthcoming Kingdom Hearts III game was released. The trailer featured a one-minute snippet of a new song by Skrillex and Utada Hikaru.

The track ‘Face My Fears’, starts as a sombre, ambient piano number. As the trailer progresses, it is peppered with Skrillex’s signature, glitchy synth instrumentals. The song has been released in both English and Japanese.

The track was initially penned to be a remix of Hikaru’s ‘Don’t Think Twice’. But the project saw the musicians develop the track “into a new and original collaboration”.

Kingdom Hearts III is set for release on January 25th. ‘Face My Fears’ will be available to purchase on January 18.
