With hip hop at its core, Klub Koori returns with Jimblah added as headliner to the already impressive lineup of indigenous Australian artists.

The Canberra-based hip hop vocalist and producer will appear as part of this year’sKlub Koori, theregular event produced by Sydney’s only Aboriginal community radio stationKoori Radio 93.7FM.

Hailing from theLarrakia Nation in the Top End of the Northern Territory, Jimblah stands out as a multitalented figure in hip hop, rapping, singing and beatboxing with a passion that is drenched in soul, against dusty and chopped-up melodic productions.

Already joining Jimblah on this year’s lineup are hip hop and jazz artist Lady Lash, rapper Nooky and the first ever performance from the children of the Young, Black n Deadly organisation, premiering original compositions.

Klub Koori takes palce at Carriageworkson Thursday July 7.
