Krispy Kreme and Golden Gaytime have joined forces to bring us the collaboration of a lifetime and put an end to all of our wellness aspirations.

In a drop that puts every single Yeezy release to shame, the collaboration has birthed two divine sweet treats. The first treat, a Krispy Kreme-inspired Gaytime ice cream. It’s your traditional Gaytime silhouette but filled with original-glazed inspired ice cream and coated in a doughnut flavoured crumb.

The second delicacy is a Golden Gaytime Doughnut. I think enough time has passed to admit that we all collectively miss Donut Time — their Gaytime doughnut really just hit differently. 7-Eleven has acknowledged our pain and developed a doughnut to help fill the void. This new doughy boy will consist of Krispy Kreme’s signature pillowy doughnut base, dipped in a lavish bath of chocolate shell, with a double-layered filling of Golden Gaytime toffee and Vanilla créme, and topped with Gaytime’s glorious signature crumb.

The delights are available literally right now. It’s Friday baby, you deserve a day off the sordid combination of tuna and rice. Live a little.

Also, a completely unrelated side note that may perhaps improve your life drastically. 7-Eleven do affogatos, and they absolutely slap.

I am disgruntled to admit that my time in the inner-city has led me down the treacherous path of coffee snobbism. I became one of those despicable cretins that cough in the face of institutions that don’t supply Bonsoy. As a result, I’ve royally stitched myself up and have missed out on a wealth of enjoyment. This Sevo-levo coffee creation is truly the culinary worlds greatest achievement. It’s like if a shot of one of those Nespresso pods married an even creamier, more indulgent Maccas soft serve.

I urge you, please, this Friday, take a long lunch, walk to your closest convenience store and treat yourself to a heavenly Gaytime treat paired with a 7-Eleven affogato. A là mode baby.
