Kyle and Jackie O have found themselves in hot water after running a segment that saw an innocent co-worker eat an apple pie that had recently had a penis in it.
The radio hosts ran a segment where their co-worker – and Beauty and The Geek star – Lachlan Mansell acted out the infamous American Pie scene that saw Jason Biggs emulate sex with the dessert.
After the scene, the messed-up apple pie was left in the communal work kitchen. Before long, Jackie O and Kyle’s co-worker, Lou grabbed a slice and tucked into it.
Finding Lou’s misfortune hilarious, the radio hosts bought Lou the groundskeeper on-air to break the news to him about where the pie had previously been.
“Lachy had his dick in that pie 10 minutes earlier,” Kyle told Lou.
Listeners quickly jump online to share their disgust at the public humiliation Lou experienced. In an Instagram post, as per So Dramatic!, which appears to be deleted now, social media users slammed the show.
“Guys, this is truly fucked. Not even funny,” one wrote. Another added, “didn’t have to embarrass [Lou] further by bringing him on-air, and subsequently posting it on Instagram.”
A third commented, “If this happened in any normal workplace people would be fired! That is beyond not ok!”
The Kyle and Jackie O Show recently copped heat for objectifying two groups of Australian podcasters. Bruno, the producer of the show, called podcasters Outspoken “ugly girls” and podcasters Shameless the “hot girls”. Both groups of podcasters took to their respective outlets to vent their frustration over Bruno’s comments.
MAFS alum Clare Verral took to the comments section to slam the show over its treatment of the women.“I can’t with these vile humans anymore. I can’t. They need to be pulled off the air. I just lost my shit in my IG stories about the stunt they pulled on the two MAFS girls this morning. I’m absolutely raging,” she wrote.
